About Moorefield Township

Moorefield Township is situated in the north central area of Clark County, Ohio. The Township consists of 32 square miles and is home to over 12,000 residents. Located within our boarders are many schools, churches, civic organizations and commercial enterprises. Children of the area attend Northeastern Local Schools. Local government officials and residents are pleased to enjoy the benefits of suburban living and the convenience of easy access to area shopping, dining, recreational facilities and commerce.

Special Public Meeting

On Thursday, May 21, 2026, the Clark County Commissioners, the Northeastern Local School Board, and the Moorefield Township Trustees will hold an informational session regarding the TIF for Liberty Place development. The meeting will take place at 6pm at the Kenton Ridge High School cafeteria.

Trustees Meetings - May 12 & 26

The regular meetings of the Board of Trustees are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, except June, July, August and December when a meeting is held on the second Tuesday only. Meetings are held at the Township Office, 1616 Moorefield Road at 5 p.m.
